To enable any company to gain maximum benefit from its internal training programmes it is necessary for those conducting such programmes to be conversant in key training techniques that can be used in different situations.

To be really effective we start from the beginning and bring the delegates forward with a steady delivery at a pace they can learn.

This course will equip the delegate to:

  • Understand a training cycle and its presence in the workplace
  • Understand the ways in which different types of people actually learn
  • Learn how to set achievable training objectives
  • Be fully conversant with the use of visual aid equipment and how to use them
  • Write and deliver a session plan for a trainee, including achievable training objectives
  • Deliver a training session and receive feedback on development points
  • Establish a rapport with both trainees and learners in a training environment
  • Identify 3 different types of “problem” people have when learning and how they can be overcome
  • Write a personal workplace action plan

Training will be held in a relaxed, friendly environment, which replicates the environment that the learning process will be delivered.

Delegates will be actively encouraged to take part in every aspect.

The training will be participative with any trainer input being complemented by exercises, including discussions and learning how to give and receive feedback.

This skill - "giving and receiving feedback" is probably the greatest asset of any coach, mentor or teacher.
